Hi, I'm Vyshak. I've played RPGs most of my life, and picked up fantasy football after moving to the States. I loved it — but I kept hitting the same wall: once I set my lineup, I was powerless. I'd watch the games live, root hard, and there was nothing left to actually do. Win or lose was already decided the moment kickoff hit.
Waiver Wizards started as an answer to that feeling — what if I could still act once the games were live? The RPG instincts I already had, attributes, spells, dice, turned out to be the lever. Now instead of just watching, I can roll to boost my own guy or sabotage yours, and the outcome still comes down to real football — just with a little more of me in it.
It's still very much a work in progress — new mechanics, balance changes, and the occasional bug are just part of building this in the open.
